I like being a dad to a newborn.

Last week coming home from the babys first dr appointment we were following a small truck that had the entire bed full of groceries.  The wife commented who needs that many eggs?  I told her that I think that is a convienient store owner that has purchased items from Sams/Costco and selling in their store.  Sure enough we followed that truck right to the convient store that has been mentioned here before.  That day was one of those unseasonably hot days, temp at the time was 75 and the closest big box store is 45 minutes away.  This guy had eggs and milk and lunch meat from what I could tell.  Is it still illegal to do that?  I remember seeing "not for individual sale" on items in the past.  Might be hard to do with Eggs.

Needless to say do not shop at the shell station east of Lavon on 78.

Intentionally avoided the SOTU address last night.  Now trying to dodge all the comments and commentary.  I am very opinionated, and hearing everyones opinion is something I could care less about.

For years as a conservative I felt like the media, pop culture and some of the 24 hour news stations opinion segmants had a very vile attitude toward conservatives.  I remember thinking the right needs someone that is just as vile and put it right back on them.  Well now we have Dennis Miller, Ann Coulter, and a slew of people lashing right back at the left.  The left seems to hate it.  They don't seem to realize that we learned if from them.  Reminds me of the 80's anti drug commercial.  HERE.

I would have rather had Hillary Clinton as president thank Obama.  Now that she is gearing up for her presidential campaign, I am scared.

Liberal friends are already showing support for her.

Conservative friends are blasting Liberal friends with "WHAT DOES IT MATTER, #BENGHAZI"

I like it.

Benghazi needs more explanization.  It will eventually hurt Hillary.

Republicans still do not have a strong canidate.

Why do the highly educated love socialism?

My first college political science teacher said about communism "it works on paper"  That is about all I took from that class.  I didn't really care about politics back then.  I cared about BEER.

I miss my college friends.  Probably the hardest part of growning up.  I'm busy they are busy, yada yada yada.

One of the reasons I avoid political issue is because I worry.  Doom and gloom bums me out.  I have to remind myself that we are here only for a short time and eternity awaits.  Prayer helps.  And not just to chill out.
